Pamporovo is one of the leading destinations for skiing and snowboarding in South Eastern Europe and an established brand name in winter tourism. This hospitable place with 90 years of history nowadays is a modern sport spa and business resort nestled in the center of the Rhodope Mountains.

The history of international sport competitions in Pamporovo dates back to 1981 when the resort hosted the first races valid for European cup.
